GDD Printers

How to Install GDD Printers on Your MacBook

To install and use the majority of the GDD printers, you will need to install the GDD Jamf profile onto your MacBook. The link to the profile download will be provided during the tech orientation when classes begin. Alternatively, you can ask the lab tech in C1419 for the link, or by emailing gddlabtech@ufv.ca.

important

Please change the name of your MacBook to your full name (First Name_Last Name) before downloading the profile.

Once the profile is installed, it should take a couple minutes for the printer drivers to download and install. Check to see if they're installed under System Settings and Printers and Scanners. If needed, you can relaunch the printer installation command from the Jamf Self-Serve app which automatically installs with the Jamf profile.

You will need to be connected to GDD-WiFi to send prints to GDD printers.

note

Students have a limit of 75 prints per semester.

  • Faculty, please let us know ahead of time if you have a full class that is required to print large format. We can teach you how to use the printer or we can print for you. Students are not allowed to operate this printer!
