Optional Software

PRUSA Slicer

For 3D printing, you will need to download a slicing software, such as PRUSA Slicer. You can download it to your device from here.

  1. Download the dmg file.
  2. Double click it and drag the icon into the applications folder.
  3. Open the PRUSA Slicer app.
  4. A setup assistant will launch and you will need to select the correct printer under the Prusa FFF tab. Uncheck the selected option and select Original Prusa i3 MK3S & MK3S+ instead, with the 0.4mm nozzle. Prusa Slicer

Blender

Blender is a free 3D animation software. You can use this to model your 3D prints! Download the software here.

  1. Download the dmg file.
  2. Double click it and drag the icon into the applications folder.

Figma

Figma is used for building UX projects. Download the software here.

  1. Click "Desktop app for macOS" to download the dmg file.
  2. Double click it and drag the icon into the applications folder.
  3. Log in with browser.

Spectrolite

Spectrolite is used for creating colour separations for Risograph printing. Download the software here.

  1. To download the dmg file, click Download for intel or silicon depending on your mac type.
  2. Double click it and drag the icon into the applications folder.
  3. Launch it from your Applications folder.

Cricut Design Space

Cricut Design Space is used for setting up files for the Cricut Maker 3. Download the software here.

  1. Check I agree and click Download.
  2. Double click it and drag the icon into the applications folder.
  3. Launch it from your Applications folder.

The Cricut Maker 3 is for cutting out designs such as stickers or cards. It is located in C1421, the Workroom
